28th Feb - 2nd March - British Universities Gaelic Football
Championships 2003, Birmingham. After progressing through the group
easily, JMU lose in the Semi-Final to Liverpool Hope for the
2nd year running.

Saturday and Sunday 8th & 9th February -
Ladies Railway Cup, Birmingham. 6 girls from JMU
represented a successful North-West Region, who triumphed to bring the
Railway cup home for the second year running.

Saturday 23rd November v Liverpool Hope, Hope Park. Due to be the first league game of the year but played as a friendly as no independent referee could be provided. JMU won the match ?-? to ?-?. | |
Sunday 10th November v Teeside, Mossley Hill. After a tour of Liverpool trying to find a pitch, the match finally got under way! An easy JMU victory, winning 10-18 to 1-1. | |
Saturday 2nd
November - British Universities 7-a-side Tournament, Birmingham.
A successful tournament for two reasons - firstly for getting into the
final, and secondly for beating St Mary's to get there!

AllStars Match 2002 |
Saturday 30th March - Irish Universities AllStars v British Universities AllStars. 10 of the JMU girls were selected for the squad, with 9 girls making it over to Northern Ireland on Easter Saturday to be included in the panel. 6 JMU girls made the starting line-up. Click here for match pictures. |
2001-2002 Season |
Wednesday 24th April - Liverpool Hope v JMU Varsity match. The last time these two teams met in the British Championships, it was hail-stoning and cold. For the Varsity match, it could not have been hotter! A tough match with Hope the eventual winners 4-10 to 2-6. Click here for match report and pictures. |
Saturday & Sunday 2nd & 3rd March - Railway Cup Competition. Several of the JMU players were selected to represent the region in this weekend's inaugural tournament. The North-West won, bringing the cup back to Liverpool, hopefully not for the last time! The competition also formed part of the selection process for the AllStars team that will represent the British Universities against the Irish AllStars at Easter. Saturday & Sunday 23rd & 24th February - British Universities Gaelic Football Championships 2002, Manchester. JMU played a tough 5 games on the Saturday before being beaten in the semi-final by a less exhausted Liverpool Hope team. Click here for match report and pictures. |

Saturday 24th November v Birmingham at Newsham Park - 1200 start. JMU won a convincing 11-a-side victory against a sporting Birmingham team, before helping out Birmingham in their following game against Hope. JMU won 3-14 to 1-4. Click here for match report. |

Sunday 11th November v Liverpool Hope at Newsham Park - 2pm start. JMU's first game of the season saw them up against their local rivals Hope in what is always a tough and gruelling contest between the two Liverpool teams. JMU won 6-6 to 2-5 . Click here for match report and pictures. |
