The Birmingham outing! 

Well, what can I say another great day and night we had yet again!

It was an early start for all on sat morn, with some getn hardly any sleep the night b4!Aint that right Felicia, ask no questions!! All got together outside the union, using the lav b4 we hit the high road, a first being sober in them......Mention no names, isnt that right Angela!

The 1st issue we faced was when Felicias car boot wouldnt shut! Different methods tried to fix this but it was discovered by the bouncers that the little mat in the car was stuck underneath the pedal! oops blame it on the early morning!

Then it was time to set off, the mini bus took off and the paddy wagon had lost all track of them! We thought shit this man travels at the speed of light!! (but we discovered different later that day!) Imagine we lost each other in liverpool so what was it going to be like in Birmingham?!?! We where sure we'd have an eventful day.....
Finally we reached the motorway and where set to rock and roll with the paddy wagon leading the way, never does it fail.....

Next we thought we'd lose the bus for it werent travelling anywhere near the speed of light.....
As we got closer to birmingham the little bus took over and in no time we'd found the pitch and to our surprise or delight we where the first to arrive! We where there b4 the "Hopefulls!" 

Games schedule was given out and to our delight it was St.Marys first for us! LOVELY! or "Simms" as they like to call themselves.....It was tough going but we held them for most of the game but towards the end they got a slippery goal and took the lead...and ended up wining the game..next up was the other rivals Hope again another tough competition and we let it slip through our fingers again....So it was back to the changers for a quick bite and a little talk from the managers, "So how do u feel now girls?!" whos that famous line from?!?!

Next up we faced Brigton, Hope B and Teeside and to our delight we won the three matches gettn a place in the semi-final! (All Cheer now as u read this!!)

The draw was done and well it was the "Simms" again! We knew we could do it so the team was lined out and getn rared up for it we had a talk from more or less all the players, so out we went to warm up for the hundreths time that day and gave it the "J M U chant!" and got stuck in...we all went out fightn for each other and wantn to show these London fools that we r just as good as them! and we r as we came out wit a win and into the final!! AGAINST "HOPE!" St.Marys wherent gona lye and tried to tell MR.Georgie that it was a draw! so us having scores not allowed we still won without the help of the ref!!

We lined out against the rivals wantn to achieve the best but as stated our fitness let us down with a few other errors, but as captain Gene says we all have to work hard now on our fitness and go for it at the British championships!

"So whos with me girls!?!?" Lets do it! 100% from everyone....

We all hit the showers and got ready for the night ahead........
